C3EN Community Engagement Core co-director Doriane Miller, MD, Professor of Medicine and Vice Dean for Community/Divisional Values at the University of Chicago will be honored at the Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation’s Annual Gala on Thursday, October 23rd at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place.  

“This year’s Gala is particularly meaningful, as we will be honoring Dr. Doriane Miller with our Bridge Builder Award—recognizing her extraordinary contributions to our communities and her unwavering commitment to building connections that improve lives,” writes GAGDC CEO Carlos Nelson. “Dr. Miller has been a long time friend to GAGDC and advocate for bridging the health disparity gap in south side communities like the ones that we serve. Her passion, consistency and willingness to ensure that knowledge of health and self is transferred to our vulnerable populations.”
